DI-1000-WIFI for Mobile Connector Inspection
Lightel’s DI-1000 digital video microscope now offers a wireless option for inspecting optical fiber connectors – the DI-1000-WIFI! Connecting the WiFi unit with a DI-1000 probe converts the probe’s USB video output into a wireless signal, enabling users to view live images of a fiber endface on their smartphone, tablet, or PC.
Lightel offers free Apps for various devices and operating systems so that users can view or capture/save/retrieve connector endface images. These Apps can be downloaded through Google Play Store (Android), Apple Store (iOS), or the Lightel website (Windows).
DI-1000-WIFI can also be used with Lightel's ConnectorView Plus Pass/Fail analytical software on Windows® tablets. ConnectorView Plus uses IEC 61300-3-35 as the default standard for analysis, or you can create user-defined pass/fail criteria.
